Christian Ferrer, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Quitman who strives to provide quality care to underserved communities.
“I volunteered for a homeless health clinic while I was in college. During my time there, I realized the drastic disparities of care in our medical system. I pursued a career in healthcare to try to close the gap of care disparity.”
Dr. Ferrer is passionate about preventive health and provides care for patients of all ages. He offers a wide range of services, including women’s care, joint injections and geriatric chronic care.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Ferrer enjoys playing and watching basketball, golf, tennis and football.
